Wendell Head Coach & Pitching Instructor With over 20 years of coaching experience, Wendell has made a significant impact in the world of softball. His career spans from local city leagues to the junior amateur level, and he has spent the last five years as a high school varsity head coach, achieving an outstanding record of 68-5. 

As a skilled pitching instructor, Wendell has helped players secure commitments to collegiate programs, including Division III, Division II, and a current Division I pitcher for the 2024/2025 school year. 

Wendell’s dedication to player development and his passion for the sport have earned him respect throughout the softball community. His leadership and focus on nurturing both athletic and personal growth continue to inspire young athletes at every stage of their careers. 

With over 18 years of experience, Coach Del has made it his mission to shape not just athletes, but strong, confident young women. Since 2006, Del has been on the sidelines, coaching everything from basketball to baseball, but his heart lies in the fast-paced, high-stakes world of fast-pitch girls’ softball. He’s worked with athletes from ages 5 to 18 across town leagues, club teams, and high school programs, and currently commands the Metro team at the prestigious BayState Games showcase tournament. 

Coach Del’s approach is relentless. He pushes athletes through all four seasons—Spring, Summer, Fall, and even Winter—never letting up. His innovative off-season programs, including boxing cardio, ensure his players are always engaged and ready for the next challenge, whether on the field or in life. 

For Del, coaching is more than just teaching skills. It’s about instilling a mindset. Perseverance. Discipline. Teamwork. Confidence. His players don’t just leave the field as better athletes—they leave empowered, resilient, and ready to take on whatever comes their way. Coach Del isn’t just training players—he’s forging champions, both on and off the field.
